Into the hills

A half-day of road riding from Missoula brings me back to USFS roads, toward the first Continental Divide crossing in the US section of the Great Divide Route at Stemple Pass. Pavement ends, and dirt begins in a little town notable for harboring the Unabomber– Lincoln, MT. It’s a dusty little town prosperous on bars and casinos, as well as incidental summer traffic between Glacier and Yellowstone. They’ve got a sense of humor as well.
